IKO Asphalt Shingles

IKO Nordic with ArmourZone shingles offer superior wind AND impact resistance. They are made with our heavy-duty fiberglass mat with an extremely thick coating of Polymer Modified Asphalt. This resulted in roofing shingles so strong and resilient, they carry a Class 4 Impact Resistance rating.  They have a special tear-resistant reinforcing band, the “ArmourZone”, on the back of each IKO Nordic shingle.  IKO Nordic shingles resist nail pull-through so effectively, they carry a 130 mph (210 km/h) high-wind limited warranty.

IKO Dynasty is a premium-quality laminated performance shingles with heavy-weight construction and a thick coating of weathering asphalt.  They carry a Class 3 Impact Resistance rating³ and are available in a wide range of high-definition color blends.  IKO Dynasty shingles with ArmourZone^® are manufactured in IKO’s special “Advantage” size. Bigger than most competitors’ comparable products, they offer greater exposure to give you a dramatic-looking roof that really stands out from the ordinary.  “ArmourZone” is a 1 ¼-inch-wide nailing surface for correct nail placement reinforced by a tear-resistant band that provides even more fastening strength over a wider surface area of the shingle. Nails applied in this area are optimally positioned to help resist nail pull-through and shingle blow-off, even in high winds.
